It's the week after spring break. The girls look better, the weather seems nice, and I have no money. Aw yeah. That's right.

Isn't it nice outside? Nothing makes me happier than waking up at 7 in the morning to a beautiful day outside. Nothing makes me feel more alive than driving an hour to get to Canton so that I can stay inside all day. Nothing makes me happier than that!

Except, of course,
When the sky breahtes ice,
I look outside and,
I feel nice. But,
What may come,
Later on in the day?
More snow? More sun?
Who's to say?

The way things are going right now, I'll be lucky if I make it through tomorrow night. What a shame! (These people) are throwing a huge party for me and I won't even be awake enough to (not) enjoy they're company.

And when the smoke has cleared out of the living room windows, and all the aluminum cans have been thrown violently towards the floor, I will pretend to sleep as the last remaining guest gathers her sweater, puts it on, finds her jacket, puts it on, finds her overflowing and useless bag, puts it over her shoulder, and steps to the door, whirling around to unsuccessfully look into my squinting eyes.

"I'm leaving now," she'll say, "I've had fun."

O'er Top 'o Them Mountains...

A ways away, o'er top 'o them mountains,
There thrived a town, overflowin' like a fountain.
I knew a man there, his name was Satch,
But in the forest, they called him Ol' Scratch.
He was a seller of things that all the townfolk needed,
And the merchants did nothing 'cause they didn't have what he did.
"It's the catch of the day!" cried an old man in joy.
"Ol' Scratch has returned. Hooray!" laughed an ogrish boy.
"But, what did he bring?" was on everyone's tongue,
And Ol' Scratched sensed it, and cleared out his lungs:
"Now listen, look here! I've got enough for you all!"
And below him grew a mound 200 feet tall!
At the very base, where the mound met the dirt,
A door opened wide to the depths of the Earth.
"Step inside," said Ol' Scratch.
"Step aside," said the old man.
And he hobbled to the door and then hopped right down in.
"What a fool," said Ol' Scratch with a smile to himself,
As the old man grabbed at his ankle,
And pulled Ol' Scratch down to Hell.
Just o'er top 'o them mountains,
Is where the world was saved,
And Ol' Scratch was sent home,
To rot in Hell for the rest of his days.
